Essential Housewares was started in 1993 by Directors Mitch Cohn and Keith Sherman,
both with senior management experience in the housewares business. From small beginnings
the company now has a team of 12 employees and a large distribution centre near London.
With a customer base of over 900 accounts, Essential sells to wholesalers, value conscious
retailers and multiple store groups nationwide. Major customers include Wilkinsons,
Cost Cutters and many other well-known retail groups. The company's policy is to sell high
quality products at very competitive prices, backed up by excellent customer service and fast,
efficient delivery.
